to carry the combined bloodlines of these famous horses. Jamie and Nelson are the only 1st premium rated
Gypsy Vanner stallions on the West Coast. Anja was rated 1st premium in Belgium, where she resided
before her death due to accidental poisoning in 2007. Anja was a DNA verified daughter of the Old Horse of
Wales, who has also passed away.
Jamie is the only living Gypsy Vanner with the Old Horse and Eastwood lines in the WORLD. Jamie was
rated 1st premium in 2006 before being imported from Belgium. He stands 14 h, 1000 lbs, has heavy "silky"
feathering, silky mane, triple tail, heavy bones, perfect balance, short coupling, and a "cupie" head- very short
and broad with only a slightly roman nose. He has bright grey eyes, an eager to please attitude and loves to
hang out with people. As the only DNA verified, 1st premium rated son of the Midget Stallion in the USA, he is
truly unique.
Lasair, the first USA born daughter of Nelson, has all the characteristics of Gypsy beauty and quality.
Heavily feathered and boned, she stands 14 hands, 1100 lbs, has a right blue eye with distinct tear drop
marking. She has a double heavy curly mane, double coat and quiet and tractable temperament. Lasair is
used as the "pony" horse when we have small visitors at Shasta H Ranch who would like a chance to "ride".
She loves our small visitors and is truly a delight. She will be bred again to Jamie in 2010.
Born June 5, 2009, Solomon surprised us with his glamorous and unique SOLID BLACK COLORING, with
the small strip and three socks. He is heavily feathered, heavy boned, perfectly balanced, short coupled,
strongly muscled and very alert and personable. He looks to have his sire's small, broad head and bright grey
eyes with very long lashes and beard. Solomon is truly what one would expect from a legacy of famous, 1st
